Weather:Projects: SÖRÖN NEST BOXES
We have been ringing some of the nest boxes that we have in Sörön, they are mainly occupied by great tit and blue tit, but we have some of the occupied by pied flycatchers.

We are still waiting for the chicks to hatch. The feeding hasn’t started yet.

Projects: MARSH HARRIER NEST
One nest with 5 eggs found today in Sörbysjön and one with 3 eggs and one chick in Rysjön.

A new nest found in Sörbysjön, the first chicks were found!

Weather:Projects: WETLAND SURVEY
We have finished the Round 5 of the wetland census, doing today Fiskinge and Värsta. Some of the waders that we used to see there have continued their migration.

Projects: SKYLARK NESTS
We have come back to the field to learn about the behavior of the skylarks, we think that they are still incubating in the autumn fields. We will come again tomorrow in the morning.

Observations; We have seen 5 chicks of Goldeneye in Rysjön.

Weather:Projects: WETLAND SURVEY
We have done the first part of the fifth round of the wetland survey. The first chicks of Black Headed Gull and Mute swan appeared.

Projects: SKYLARK NESTS
We visited the field that we are interested and orientate it. So tomorrow we will try to make some observations and try to find some nests.

Weather:Projects: HORTULAN BUNTING
We have been searching Hortulan buntings in Torsholmen, but we didn’t have luck. Tomorrow we will go to Hidingsta.

Projects: STARLING NEST BOXES
We have been ringing some of the starling chicks this morning in Öby Kulle, in this area there are 16 nest boxes occupied by starlings and we have ringed a total amount of 70 chicks.

We have a new female and a new male in Sörbysjön.

We have been doing some observations this morning. And we have tried in one of the locations, but we haven´t been successful. We will keep trying.

Projects: SAVI’S WARBLER
We tried to trap one male singing in Sörbysjön but we didn’t make it, we will try again 😊

Projects: GREAT REED WARBLER
All the lakes where checked and one female trapped and ringed today.

Projects: MARSH HARRIER
Some observations were made in the lakes, we have more than 15 possible nests and tomorrow we will try to reach some of them.

We found the first hatchlings of Blue tit, a nest box occupied by a Pied flycatcher and more eggs for the great tits.

Some of the nests were checked to see the possible date for ringing.

Three new nests have been found today.

Projects: GREAT REED WARBLER
We joined the great reed warbler team. Three new nests were found, and one male trapped and colour ringed.

We have seen a female Red-Footed falcon, a couple and a young individual of White-tail eagle, a Ringed plover and the first goldeneye chicks.
