MBR and MLA tried to locate and catch a male Great Reed Warbler that wore a logger however upon reaching the site at Rysjön, discovered that the bird was nowhere to be found - very disappointing.

MBR visited Segersjön to check on progress. Jacob was out on Fågelsjön & Åslasjön and found three new nests, whilst TMJ & MLA visted Låten and found a single nest, MLA getting a bit wet in the process!

The teams in Kvismaren had mixed fortunes today, from being flipped out of canoes unwillingly by colleagues to releasing birds accidentally we all had a bit of a mare!

TMJ went to Rysjön and caught a female. MBR and MLA covered Sörbysjön and found some new activity by the canal with possibly a male with a nest. JR covered Åslasjön and Fågelsjön and made also some new recording of a singing male.

Jacob and Marianna are here from the University of Lund to help the GRW team. Out at Åslasjön they found a new male, a nest with 5 chicks, and a predated nest. At Nyäangen alos, they found a further predated nest.

MBR, TMJ and DHT covered the Kvismaren area in the morning. One new nest haven been found and two nest have now chicks. In the afternoon, DHT and MBR went to Egerby and found two nests, ringed a hole family and put on a logger CanMove on one male. The female of this male was a very old control. It was a at least 11 years female!!!
