MMJ and LDC went to ring to Banvallen today, having a windy and a rainy morning . At 8:00 we close and we take down nets because it was very windy and rain . But we had 2 funny flocks of juvenile siskin.

We had a bit weird morning today at vallen. Busy the first one and a half hour and, then, captures decrease amazingly fast. The morning after 7:00 was really slow; with a couple of birds per round and two persistent Reed backed shrikes falling back in the nets over an over again every round.

APN, LDC ,MMJ, HHT went to ring to Vällen today, trying successfully to set nets through the dense fog, which, on the other hand, allowed the capture of the roosting greenfinches.

Today we ringed at Banvallen. A nice first year Spotted Flycatcher was caught, and apart from that the catch consisted of the usual suspects. Totals were as follows, with recaptures in brackets:
