Staff: MMJ, APN, LDC, HHT

Weather: Sunny all day with almost no wind.

Projects: Ringing

Standardised ringing

APN, LDC ,MMJ, HHT ringed at Ässön today. The morning started off with a fox falling into the water, just a few meters away from us, during net setting, and continued with a flock of 11 Long-tailed Tits falling into the nets. One of these latter beauties was ringed in 2012 (quite remarkable!) and another in 2014, both by Kvismare ringers. A very nice surprise for everyone, especially for the foreign staff who are not so used to the caudatus subspecies. Three Tree Sparrows and a Siskin were also caught. All in all this made for a really pleasant morning.
