The team did the annual Lapwing Census around Kvismaren with 49 Lapwings counted and 11 nests in the fields.

Fransmännen har studerat brun kärrhök och letat efter storspov i ett större område i Kvismaren.
Trastsångargänget har fångat och ringmärkt en ny trastsångarhane och funnit ett nytt bo.
Själv har jag observerat alla kända ortolansparvar, tre hanar och en hona, i vårt område.

Three Ortolans bunting have been seen in Söröslätten and one in Lindåsabacken again.

GBN went to Fräknabottnen area to check a new point of view. MBU & EDT went to Fågelsjön and found the 1st nest.

All areas were count today. Some numbers: 243 Cranes on Hammar-botten, 700 Black-headed Gull and 1 pair of Little Gull, 1 pair of Herring Gull on incubation, and lot of Wood Sandpiper.

Ortolan Buntings: Finally there was first female this year seen in Söröslätten.
GRW: at least 6 males have arrived, 4 of which have colour rings and two have loggers.

Ortolan Buntings (Ortolansparvar): TAG har letat efter ortolansparvar kring Värsta, Fiskinge och Sörön. Tanken är att hitta nya individer utanför Lindåsabacken och Söröslätten. Inga ny ortolansparvar blev hittade.
Ringing (Ringmärkning): EDT, MBU and GBN har ringmärkt småfågel vid Öbykulle.

Ortolan Buntings: Tag and Magnus Pearson have checking the ortolan buntings for colour rings and 2 out of 3 had colour rings!!!!! What a nice surprise!!!!! Now they´re trying to guess the colour code as ortolans move a lot and so it´s not easy to read them
