Projekten pågår som vanligt.
Trastsångargänget fångade två honor och en hane i våtmarkerna. Fransmännen jobbade med fåglarna i jordbruksprojektet. Magnus och jag studerade tre sjungande ortolansparvshanar på Söröslätten.

Yellow waigtail were checked in the morning and 2 curlews were flying close to the Fågelstation in the evening. Second check for the starlings nest boxes (2nd hatching) but the chicks were too small. Wait for it…

The ACARU Team rings these first chicks on 2 nests, 9 in total.
ORTOLAN
The male which was ringed this year, by Magnus and Tage, was found again in the field, for the very first time. The male was spotted in Söröslätten in the same place where it was caught.

We change our area this afternoon (after dragonflies check) and we went to Sörbyjön and Hammar.

Clutch counting in Rysjön and Löten
Guys have been looking for the clutches in Rysjön and Löten. They have seen chicks of Lapwing, Coot and Mallard.

STARLING
We ring all the chicks from the starling nest boxes. The last part is Soron now.
GREAT REED WARBLER
New female has arrived in Nyangen and Löten. One logger take off and one put on. And very good news - first hatching of the great reed warblers in Kvismaren today, 2 nests with 3 chicks.
