The ringing team had an intense morning in Vallen with a total of 130 new individuals banded and 15 different species; being the Chiffchaff the highlight for today and Reed Warblers and Sedge Warblers the most abundant.
The GRW team had checked Östra and Rysjön, finding that everything is going well, without any new predated nest by now.

It was a busy morning ringing at Bonvallen this morning with a total of 68 new birds ringed. We have ringed the first lesser whitethroat for the season.
MLA departed from Kvismaren soon after lunch. We all had a great time working with her and her company will be greatly missed.
In the afternoon, with the help of MBR and LAR, the ringing team finally managed to set up the poles for the canopy net at Åsön.

It was far too windy for the ringing team to be able to visit Banvallen this morning, instead a relaxing morning was enjoyed by all.

The Great Reed Warbler team (LAR, MBR) found one nest hatching and ringed another one.
MAL checked the area for Ortolan Bunting but it was too windy and couldn’t find anything.
KLE arrived yesterday evening and joined today to the Standardized Ringing team (LST, FGA and AJA) in Vallen. It was a windy morning with not too many birds ringed.

The Great Reed Warbler managed to catch a female in Löten this morning and ringed chicks of a nest in Fågelsjön (Oby maden) earlier.
MAL was working with Ortolan Bunting and following some singing males.

As usual, early in the morning ringing team went out to Vallen. Apparently today was quite a busy days with 140 birds ringed, 93 of them new ones.
The GRW had the help of TMJ today. In Åslasjön, the team found today a new nest and capture a male, and in Fågelsjön they caught a new female.

The GRW team has ringed the last nest in Sorbysjön and trapped a new female in Nyängen.
LST, AJA and FGA carried out another ringing session in Banvallen, with 63 new birds ringed of 16 sp. Today highlights are two juvenile wrynecks and the first fieldfare of the standardized ringing season!

LAR and MBR caught a female GRW in Nyängen and attached a logger on. Then they found a new nest in Åslasjön and chicks have been ringed in a nest in Åslasjön too. We also went to Fågelsjön and Sörbysjön to check nests.

It was an easy morning for the ringing team (LST, FGA, FSM) at Banvallen with a total of 43 birds ringed and one new species for the season – a tree pipit.
GRW team (LAR, MBR) surveyed again all the lakes. They retrapped a male GRW.
Ortolan and Skylark team (MLA, MPN) went out to Mörby fields in the morning with the company of JSL to officially finish off the Skylark project.
