It was an easy morning for the ringing team (LST, FGA, FSM) at Banvallen with a total of 43 birds ringed and one new species for the season – a tree pipit.

GRW team (LAR, MBR) surveyed again all the lakes. They retrapped a male GRW.

Ortolan and Skylark team (MLA, MPN) went out to Mörby fields in the morning with the company of JSL to officially finish off the Skylark project.

Today was a good day!
Ringing team (LST, FGA, FSM) was out in Vallen this morning and caught again a Rosefinch and two Marsh Warblers.

GRW team (LAR, MBR) surveyed again all the lakes. They found a nest hatched today in Fågelsjön and were able to catch a new female in Östra.

The GRW team visit Åslasjön, Rysjön and Nyängen. Two female have been ringed in Åslasjön and a nest found.

The ringing team have ringed 84 birds including a Citrine Wagtail!

MLA and MPN has been working on Ortolan Bunting, studying the behaviour of males and breeders pairs.

Two GRW nests have hatched!

The Skylark team found a nest with very small chicks.

The ringing team have ringed 59 birds of 18 sp in Banvallen. Including a Wryneck!

The GRW team has managed to trap a new female and to deploy two loggers on males in Nyangen.

Early in the morning the ringing team went out to Vallen with MLA helping in the first hours. A calm day for the ringing with the following summary:

The Great Reed Warbler Team has checked all the lakes with no new results.

MLA keep on monitoring the breeding season of skylarks.

As the morning was rainy, we couldn’t carry out the standardized ringing. FGA and FSM went in the afternoon to Banvallen to fix some net poles.

The Great Reed Warbler Team covered Åslasjön and Västra. LAR found a new female and a nest hatched in Åslasjön. MBR found a new nest in Västra.

MLA and MPN have been in Lindåsabacken and Sörosletten observing Ortolan Bunting activities.

The ringing team have been ringing in BVallen and following the list of the 37 birds ringed:

All the lakes have been checked by the GRW team (with the help of MÅN) and they have found one new nest in Östra and new fledged chicks around Sörbysjön from three different broods.

This morning MLA has been working on the Skylark project and she has observed that a few adults still feeding their chicks but no possible nest location has been found yet.

Ringing team (including Fredrik) started early in the morning in Bonvallen. Some interesting captures with a total of 51 new birds ringed as listed below.

GRW team surveyed all lakes in Kvismaren as usual and they ringed chicks from 1 nest and found a new female.
