Staff:MLA, LST, LAR, MBR, MTA, BHN, MPN.

Weather: Sunny, hot and windy day.

Projects: Great Reed Warbler, Marsh Harriers, Skylark.

GRW team covered all the lakes in Kvismaren except for Rysjön. MTA and BHN went to try their luck with the most difficult nests that are still to be found in Åslasjön and Fågelsjön. LAR and MBR surveyed Nyängen and Sörbysjön. They successfully found 1 new nest in Nyängen and re-discovered a second nest that has been abandoned and is now being re-built. It was the first small nest, still in the early phases of building, that LAR found and it made her day!

LST and MLA went to Rysjön to try to locate a Marsh Harrier nest, but without success as the nest is far away and already outside Rysjön.

In the afternoon LST and MLA joined MPN to go to the Skylark field also to try to find some nests and try out setting up some cages. Another possible location of nest was discovered and next time the plan is to go to the nest and check how big the youngsters are now.
