Staff: DWE, MLA, LST, LAR, MBR, JRD
Weather: Cold, windy with showers
Projects: Great Reed Warbler, Crane Counting, Savi’s Warbler
Due to the bad weather (too windy and showers), we decided to take the morning off and to go birding at Tysslinge for the Citrine Wagtail and at Sommoro for the Red-Breasted Flycatcher as both species are a life for us!!! . We also looked for Dottorels around the area, but as it happened yesterday, we missed them.
After lunch, we were busy doing office work and a bit of cleaning up. In addition, JRD and LAR went to town to make some shopping for the GRW fieldwork and also to order some new poles in a local wood factory.
Later afternoon MLA, DWE and LST went to count de Cranes and listen for Savi’s Warblers. MBR and JRD went to Sörbysjön in order to move the new canoe along Kvismare Canal to Östra. Let’s see how it goes!!! Hopefully the won’t get loose ;)
