Great Reed Warbler
MBR and TMJ went to Åslasjön to ring a GRW nest. Five chicks have been ringed. They also check the new males of the lake. Two of them have already a nest with one egg. The new fighting male appears to have a female. Mating behaviour have been heard. Later in the morning they visit Nyängen and check for the three nests of the area. One have been predated. It was the fourth failed nest of this pair.
JRD and MLA went to Rysjön and in Fågelsjön. The still ongoing nest in Rysjön have some new chicks with a hatching day for one nest. In Fågelsjön, a breeding male have found a second female but no nest have been found until now.
Standardised Ringing
The early rain disturbed the ringing session in Rysjön. CBS, APN and MMJ have been ringing in Ängfallet area.
Ortolan buntings
MPN and JMY tried to relocate an Ortolan Bunting in Torsholmen and also went to Hidingsta for another one but nothing have been found.
