Staff: Carlos, Bruno, Antoine, Hannes, Kieran, Helena and our guest Bo Nielsen (chairman of the board).
Weather: Warm, hot, absolutely boiling or whatever you want to call it. Probably just under 30 degrees Celsius. No wind and clear skies, except for the morning mist.
CES-ringing:
With Bo Nielsen in the team we were seven today, meaning none of us understood that we caught over a hundred birds until the day was over and the summary had been done: the estimation was at around 80, merely because the work effort required was lower than usual.
Today we also caught a couple of Marsh Warblers, which might have been the most interesting species today:

After ringing, when cycling home, Kieran had a minor accident with the bike and got a fracture in his elbow. After a couple of hours in the emergency ward in Örebro, Kieran came back with his left (lucky!) arm in a mitella and now has to consider himself one-armed for some days to come. During this time, the last preparations for tomorrow's ringing premiere at Ässön were made, and a lot of data entry was done. We are now ready to rock (except Kieran who's not rocking anything but Paracetamol and Ibuprofen and possibly data entry).
