Weather: Nice day, sunny, with some rain clouds which happened to rain in Kvismaren for some time.
Projects: Ortolans, Skylarks, GRW.
Ortolan observations started really early, already at 6 in the morning, accompanied by Magnus Persson, later at 8 o’clock Jan Sondell joined the group. Obervations lasted until 11 h, and one new unringed male was observed. In addition, a lot of feeding observations were registered.
Later, a team had a quick lunch and were looking for skylarks. However, it seems that skylark project might need to be stopped, because of the late year they are delaying their breeding. After skylarks, the team continued to observe Ortolans, until late in the evening.
Great reed warbler team had a nice day, we caught a female and male and a logger was put on him, besides this, two new nests were found.
