Resting day!
(Finally!) A bad weather day that allowed everyone to have an afternoon off. Nevertheless, everyone made the morning to be a productive one.
Ortolans were checked by CDF and AJA, to check the new female.
BNN was early around Åslasjön to check for Savi's warbler, but unfortunately no success with this much wind. And then joined the team for some Skylark observations.
At the skylark field, the ringing team (CDF, CSP, AJA and BNN) concluded that it might still be to early to observe birds feeding the chicks. Also, they are soon going to try to build platforms as they did last year.
For the GRW, lakes in Kvismaren were checked for changes in behaviours, but everything seems stable for now. A new income of females might be expected soon.
BHN still had the courage to make a quick visit to Slottsviken!
A lot of afternoon office work and a lot of well-deserved resting for everyone. And today, Bengt's (BHN) brother and Bo (BNN) left Ängfallet. I think they both were extremely sad for that...
