This morning LST together with the help of Andreas (ATD) tried out the ringing season. They were able to open the nets at Banvallen (Rysjön) for a few hours in the morning and they caught some good amount of birds for the first day.
GRW team surveyed all lakes in Rysjön today again. In Åslasjön and Sörbysjön, LAR and MBR ringed 4 nests, caught 4 females and 2 males and put loggers on both males. In Fågelsjön and Rysjön, GMA and JRD found 2 new nests and caught 5 individuals, one of them a new one.
MLA and MPN went out to Mörby field to survey both fields there and estimate the amount of Skylarks still active in that area.
This afternoon the ringer Francisco arrived and Francisco, LST and GMA were fixing the ringing sites in Vallen at the end of the afternoon. Already doing some hard work on the arrival day!
