Weather: Mild winds, sparse rain/hail showers but otherwise nice.
Projects: Sörön nestboxes.
I took the opportunity this afternoon to go and finish the Sörön nestbox checks before the breeding season gets into full swing.
Of all the boxes, 11 need to be put back up or replaced which shall occur along with the Starling nestboxes early next week. There was some evidence of nestbuilding beginning to occur, but mostly it seems the birds are not quite ready to breed yet here, and I don’t blame them after being caught out in the hail earlier!
