Weather: Wet at dawn but clearing into a cool but pleasant day.
Projects: Wetland Census, Marsh Harrier
The Wetland Census is underway! This morning, Fågelsjön, Åslajön, Fiskingemaden and Värstamaden were surveyed in order to begin to estimate breeding numbers across Kvismaren.

After the Wetland Census I observed the Marsh Harriers from Åslaholmen once again and saw what looks like a pair forming a bond as well as an interesting dynamic of 2 males and a female vying for each others affections. All good signs!
