Standardised ringing
Ringing took place at Banvallen. The strong winds undoubtedly affected today’s catch to a large degree, as this was one of the poorer mornings of the season. In total, 18 birds of 5 species were caught, 12 of them new and 6 recaptures. Birds caught listed in detail below

Observations
26 Black Terns over Rysjön was a high count compared to recent numbers. Peregrine, Hobby, Osprey, White-tailed Eagle, Great Black-backed Gull and Spotted Redshank were all seen during standardised ringing.
