Great reed warblers
JRD Left. TMJ still has some nests to check for ringing in the coming days.
Standardised ringing
Ringing took place in Banvallen, after a delayed start due to weather. 10 nets produced 20 new birds, many nets were unusable due to weather conditions and continued high water.
Willow Warbler 11
Great Tit 2
Blue Tit 3
Reed Warbler 1
Garden Warbler 1
Sedge Warbler 2
Observations: A Whimbrel on Löten was the first the team has seen this autumn. The Smew remains in Rysjön and a pair of Taiga Bean Geese were observed amongst the Greylags today. This is the earliest record I have heard about in Kvismaren for a few years at least. A Woodcock on Värsta råkan and a Short-eared Owl just north on Restamossen were the other highlights.
