The cool, calm mornings continue but today is much foggier. Our first bird was ringed at 6.10, we were joined by five UK. birdwatchers. Daniel their leader, aided by Bill, explained the value of ringing. Pelle and Daniel spoke excellent English together until they both realised their first language is Swedish! New species for our visit continued with Song Thrush, Long-tailed Tit ssp Caudatus, Marsh Tit and Chiffchaff aqdded to the ringing totals.
Net repairs, bird bag restringing occupied our afternoon and preparing for another evening wader ringing.
