A nice day at Banvallen with two more Bluethroats caught and a Black Woodpecker observed, the latter a species which seems to be something of a favourite with the non-Swedish staff.

In the afternoon, we all had a go at our respective tasks: net mending, data entry, counting juveniles of wetland birds (a task which is getting rather difficult this late in the season) etc.
