Staff: Kieran, Carlos, Bruno, Helena and Annemarie
Weather: The day started off very cloudy which meant it wasn’t too cold but also didn’t warm up until the sun broke out, when it eventually rose to 25 degrees celcius. A slight breeze of around 2 m/s.
CES-Ringing: Today we were ringing at Banvallen, a good day for the site. Not close to our catches at Vallen but enough to keep us awake, a few Red-Backed Shrikes also helping with that! A summary of todays catch is as follows:

The afternoon was a mixture, with Bruno and Carlos doing office work while myself, Helena and Annemarie headed to separate locations to do chick counts. Most of the chicks have now either left their areas or are to big to distinguish but the Red-Necked Grebes are still incredibly cute.
Over and out,
