Wetland survey: This morning EDT and MBU have done Åslasjön, Fågelsjön, Fiskingemaden and Vårstamaden areas. Due to the rain, no many broods and species have been observed this time comparing with the first round. Just one couple of Greylag geese.
Marsh Harrier: 3 new locations were spotted in Sörbysjön and central area of Östra Kvismaren by EDT, MBU and GBN.
GRW: This morning, AJA, MLA and LAR were organizing the fieldwork material and once it got a bit hotter we walked along the lakes looking for this amazing kra-kra of the first GRW arrivals. Although no GRW has been heard, we could enjoy some sedge and reed warbles, reed bunting, skylarks… singing which means that the spring is coming!!!!
Today the great white-fronted goose with the colour ring (previously read by EDT) was also spotted in the field close by Fågelsjön.
