The day started earlier with poor weather conditions that impeded normal ringing work at the station, however the nearby sandmartin colony was scouted and preparations were made for ringing at that site. Also, three marsh harrier chicks were successfully ringed at their nest in Västra.
The GRW team checked a few sites although the strong winds prevented the observation of activity by the birds, who were keeping quiet and hidden in the reeds.
CSP
