Weather: Windy and wet

Projects: Wetland Census, Marsh Harrier

And they are off! The 2017 season opened this morning, starting off with the wetlands census. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t onside so much today but was pleasant enough before 10am.

Highlights of the day were a Black Woodpecker by Fiskingemaden and a fly over Black-throated Diver (not so common here at Kvismaren). The Marsh Harriers were fairly active early on in the day but became less so as the weather deteriorated with 4 females around Åslasholmen and 1 male.
