As the weather forecast was quite good we decided to go to Ässön for a ringing session. However the morning was a bit more windy that we would had liked. We managed to ring 47 birds of 16 species, including the first Bullfinch and Coal Tit of the season.
On the other hand, there was a strong migration of different finches species flying in big flocks to the South the whole morning. Wish some of them stop in our nets!
