We have finished with the ringing in Sörön for now, the nest boxes were occupied mainly by Blue tits and Great tit, we have ringed more than one hundred of chicks. We will come back in a couple of weeks because there are at least 5 nest boxes that are occupied by pied flycatcher.

We have finished the Round 5 of the wetland census, doing today Fiskinge and Värsta. Some of the waders that we used to see there have continued their migration.

We have come back to the field to learn about the behavior of the skylarks, we think that they are still incubating in the autumn fields. We will come again tomorrow in the morning.
Observations; We have seen 5 chicks of Goldeneye in Rysjön.

We have been searching Hortulan buntings in Torsholmen, but we didn’t have luck. Tomorrow we will go to Hidingsta.

We have been ringing some of the starling chicks this morning in Öby Kulle, in this area there are 16 nest boxes occupied by starlings and we have ringed a total amount of 70 chicks.
