A nice day (recaptured first calendar year Barred Warbler and a new adult male Bluethroat) cut short by strong wind.

Weather: Cloudy in the early morning, around 15 degrees with a light breeze, sunshine breaking through later in the morning
Today was a fantastic day at Vallen with a few highlights. We caught a Blue Throat, Tree Pipit and a Red Start. We were especially excited about the two Barred Warblers, with which we now have four individuals of this species ringed this season.

Weather: Cloudy day with some rain around midday and early afternoon.
A total of 71 birds captured at Ässön today. The Common Sandpiper must without doubt be considered the highlight of the morning.

Weather: Cloudy in the early morning, but turned sunny and warm later.
A low day with few captures (34 birds) at Banvallen today. An adult White-tailed sea eagle captivated us while creating chaos among the waterfowl. An adult Red-backed shrike, a very beautiful bird, was the most interesting one that was ringed today.

Weather: Cloudy in the early morning, it rained a little and not for a very long time, but enough to disturb the ringing session.
Few captures at Vallen (53), poor numbers for the best station here in Kvismaren. But in the last it was exciting because we could see a White-tail eagle really close to us and in the last minutes we caught the first Barred warbler of the season (first in my life too).

Weather: Cloudy morning with less than 20 degrees, only small wind.
CES-Ringing: Today our catches were dominated by Barn Swallows. Carlos put up playback and it took only 5 min and the net was filled with nearly 40 Barn Swallows. Also, we attracted 3 Nuthatches with playback to the net. In the afternoon we set up some nets close to our Bird observatory in order to catch White Wagtails and Barn Swallows.
