AGRICULTURAL BIRDS
Tage learn about the behaviour of Yellow Wagtail. EDT and MBU do some transect inventory of YWT and Skylark.

CURLEW
We went near south of Orebro airport from Artoportalen’s data and we saw nothing.

GREAT REED WARBLER
One new male has been catch in Sörbysjön. The team checks all the lakes.

Väder: Sol och blå himmel.

Projekt:

Trastsångargänget har satt loggar på fyra stycken trastsångare.

Fransmännen har ägnat sig åt att kontrollera starholkar.

Själv har studerat sånglärka och gulärla utanför en bondgård.

WETLAND COUNTING
All the team was on the field this morning to count the wetland birds. First chicks of Geese appeared.

CURLEW
A data signaled near Sörön. We went to see it but we didn’t see birds.

Tage has seen five ortolans

GOOSE CHICKS
Melanie and Ettiene have checked goose’s families. The big one was one couple with 16 chicks.

GREAT REED WARBLER
All the lakes in Kvismaren have been checked. One male in Sörbyjön has been catch.

On Nyängen we didn’t see activities of harrier, maybe the female are in incubation.

A couple founded near Odensbacken.

Great news!! New Ortolan bunting male has been spotted in Söröslätten. Looking forward to ring it.

MARSH HARRIER
Few attempts has been made to find marsh harrier nest, in Rysjön and Åslaholmen. But no nest has been found, just some geese nests has been found.

EDT and MBU catch a male in Kvinnerstajön.

Projects: LAPWING CENSUS
The team did the annual Lapwing Census around Kvismaren with 49 Lapwings counted and 11 nests in the fields.

Väder: Blå himmel och sol.

Projekt:

Fransmännen har studerat brun kärrhök och letat efter storspov i ett större område i Kvismaren.

Trastsångargänget har fångat och ringmärkt en ny trastsångarhane och funnit ett nytt bo.

Själv har jag observerat alla kända ortolansparvar, tre hanar och en hona, i vårt område.

Three Ortolans bunting have been seen in Söröslätten and one in Lindåsabacken again.

GBN went to Fräknabottnen area to check a new point of view. MBU & EDT went to Fågelsjön and found the 1st nest.
