Mandarin Duck; 1 pair.

A big surprise was the finding of a pair of Mandarin Duck on Hammarmaden, admittedly not by me (I was wondering why there were so many people when I got to the hide).

Marsh Harrier:
Definite nest discovered in northern Rysjön, and in Nyängen. Both birds were seen building for both these nests. A probable nest 3 was found in the middle of Rysjön with a male seen nest building. A possible 4th pair in western Nyängen though only the female was seen today.

Crow and Raven:

Under expert guidance from BNN, we found 5 new nests. We checked the Nynäs area to much success and also scoured the areas around Fornskinnsmossen for which Ravens were present but not found and no crows.

Bar the Mandarin Ducks on Hammarmaden the Lesser White-fronted Goose was heard by DWE on Ängfallet first thing this morning.
